Welcome Adesola!
We are delighted to be welcoming Adesola Efunbajo to our Stewards team. So we can get to know her a little better, we asked Adesola some questions:
How long have you been coming to High Street?
I've been coming to High Street since 2018, although I've visited occasionally in the past, mainly because Adeola invited me to some activities at the church.
Why did you decide to become a Steward?
I decided to become a steward because I have a passion for serving others and contributing to the well-being of my community. Being a steward allows me to make a positive impact, address issues, and work towards creating a better environment for everyone.
What do you do when you're not Stewarding?
When I'm not fulfilling my duties as a steward, I spend time with my family, ensuring my boys are happy and healthy. Additionally, I dedicate myself to my work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, providing care and support to those in need.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
One of the best pieces of advice I've received is: Always be curious and never stop learning. It's a reminder to stay open-minded, seek knowledge, and embrace new experiences.
How can your church family support you in your new role?
In my new role, my church family can support me by offering encouragement, praying for me, providing mentorship, and offering practical assistance when needed. They can also provide a listening ear and offer guidance based on their own experiences. Additionally, their love and support can help me navigate challenges and celebrate achievements along the way.
Please do say ‘hello’ to Adesola and support and pray for her as she starts her new role.
