Thy Kingdom Come 2024
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer initiative. It is an invitation to partner with God, in prayer and mission, to see more people encounter the love of Christ this year.
Of course we pray all year round, but this is a special opportunity to pray with others too. Knowing that Christians all around the world are coming together to pray over the eleven days from Ascension Day to Pentecost is a great encouragement. Together we will watch and pray to see what God will do, how we will be changed and how our prayers move us into action.
When we think of God’s Kingdom what comes to mind? Justice; Joy; Love; Mercy; Grace. Where do you want to see God’s Kingdom come? How can you be part of the answer to your prayers?
As before, every Christian across the globe is invited to pray that God’s Spirit might work in the lives of 5 people. The hope and prayer is that those who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus and His love for the world, will hear it for themselves and respond and follow Him.
May these days between Ascension and Pentecost be infused with expectation and anticipation. May we set time aside to pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
