The Nativity Experience

Sunday 24 November
1:30 - 5pm at the Harpenden Christmas Carnival

This year, we will be turning the church car park into Bethlehem. Join the hustle and the bustle with the townsfolk, donkeys and sheep, have a drink at the inn (if you can find room!) and create your own decorations at the carpenter's shop.

We aim to provide a space and a welcome that differs from the commercial atmosphere the rest of the carnival demonstrates. Our archway will provide a gateway to a place where those who are searching the opportunity to find Jesus - in ways they may not expect! 

Shepherds will be sharing their story, and of course Mary and Joseph will be allowing visitors to see their very special new born child. 

As with the rest of the carnival celebrations we have planned, we need your help! If you would like to help with handing out books and flyers to our visitors, in the woodwork shop or the inn, please get in touch!
