Twenty Questions Jesus Asked

In our recent sermon series we have been exploring some of the questions that Jesus asked. If you want to dig a little deeper then our Resource Centre can help.

Twenty Questions Jesus Asked

by John Pritchard

If you enjoy historical fiction and thinking about deeper issues, you may find this book both enjoyable and informative. John Pritchard, one time Bishop of Oxford, sets 20 questions of Jesus in an imagined historical setting and discusses how the questions relate to us. The book is written primarily for personal benefit rather than group discussion, although the questions at the end of each chapter could be expanded for group discussion.

Helpfully John Pritchard uses recent stories and events to elucidate the importance of Jesus’ questions and show their relevance to us today. What we find is that Jesus used questions both to reveal to people what they think and to invite people to participate and explore life more fully.

This book provides an excellent extension to our recent Sunday sermon series on ‘Questions of Jesus’.
