Live Stream Online Host

Join our AV Tech team and be a live stream online host to help our congregation who watch online feel part of our services on a Sunday morning.. This can be done in Church or at home.

This role would suit someone who is comfortable using social media, enjoys helping people feel connected and included, and is confident switching between different online accounts and platforms.

You’ll need access to a computer or tablet, a WhatsApp account and if serving from church, a pair of headphones so you can monitor the livestream audio. No previous experience is required as full training and support will be provided.

One Sunday per month is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the livestream to ensure viewers can see and hear the service.

• Report any technical or quality issues to the onsite livestream team.

• Welcome viewers and help create a friendly online community.

• Highlight information that online viewers may need during the service.

• Share comments with the service team where appropriate.

• Moderate comments in line with the church’s agreed social media guidelines.
