Exploring Revelation
The book of Revelation may not always seem like safe territory. The last book in the Bible is well known for being tremendously fascinating to read, phenomenally difficult to understand, and notoriously open to interpretation.
However we are encouraged as part of this year’s Bible Month project, to spend some time in this book of Good News: to explore some of its overarching themes and what it means for us today.
Of course, four sermons could never do the whole book justice, but we hope our four-week exploration encourages you to delve deeper, either by yourself or as part of your home group.
The Bible Month guide to the series includes small group discussion points and copies are available from High Street’s Resource Centre, along with other books of interest.
The topics for the coming weeks are:
15 October: Rev Mark Hammond: The Church Now and Then
22 October: Katharine Crew: The Triumph of the Lamb
29 October: Jenny Harris: Witness, Worship and Waiting
5 November: Rev Mark Hammond: Heading Home
