Introducing our new Lead Youth Worker
Ruth Lindridge will be joining the staff team at High Street as Lead Youth Worker from 1 October.
Ruth joins us from Gateshead where she has lived, worked and worshipped in the Newcastle District. Ruth says:
"Having seven years experience working as a Youth and Families Worker, it has been a delight and great fun to work with churches, families and young people. It has been a joy to see people grow and a privilege to see God at work in their lives. I care about young people encountering God, being empowered in their faith journey and finding encouragement and support along the way. I like good walks, deep conversations and trying and learning new things. I am so excited to be joining High Street! Being a very friendly person, I would be delighted if you said hello. I am eager to get to know you all."
We are thrilled that Ruth is joining us, and look forward to getting to know her in October. We would like to thank everyone who has prayed and helped as we have worked on advertising this position over the last year. We can't wait for Ruth to get started!
