Let me introduce myself...

Hi, I’m Miriam Swain and I’m the new Technical and Communications Manager here at High Street.

I previously worked at the University of Bedfordshire as an Admissions Assistant where I did the administration for the new applications. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering as an Assistant Stage Manager with a local musical theatre company and singing in a musical theatre choir.

I have attended High Street all my life and have volunteered with the sound and visuals here for about eighteen years now (that’s half my life!). I also sing in the worship band so you will either see me on the stage or on the desk.

It’s exciting to see how far we have come with the technology over the years and I look forward to continuing the great work that Lewis has done before me.

If anyone fancies learning a new skill in the new year then we are always looking for volunteers for the tech desk and to help host the live stream.
