Farmer Ian explains about his harvest this year

Following our Harvest Worship Together Service, the hall was full to capacity for our Harvest Sunday Roast and with the help of many volunteers, 86 meals were served. It was chance for old friends to meet and some new friendships to be forged.

As well as primarily being a social event, the lunch also raised money for our church charities. Along with donations taken during our morning service almost £1,400 was raised and will be divided between All We Can and Harpenden Money Advice Centre (HMAC).

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the lunch possible and a special thank you to Louise and Alex Schlich who coordinated the event.
