Big Day In - May 2026

Our Big Day In was a special opportunity for the whole church community to gather, reflect and look ahead together. It was a day that blended fellowship, worship, celebration, and discernment - offering space both to give thanks for all that has been and to listen for where God may be leading us next.

We began by sharing lunch, strengthening the relationships that sustain our life together. This was then followed by a short act of worship, grounding everything we do in prayer and gratitude. As the afternoon unfolded, we celebrated the past year, attended to the practical aspects of church life through appointments and reports, and took time to pause and connect over refreshments.

A key highlight of the day was the opportunity to take part in one of several seminars, each offering a different way to deepen our discipleship - through prayer, learning, justice, or care for creation. These sessions invited us not just to reflect, but to engage actively with our faith in today’s world.

Finally, we gathered again to look forward - sharing hopes, priorities, and vision for the coming year - before closing in worship.

It was a lovely chance to belong, to contribute, and to help shape our shared life and mission.
