In addition our circuit has agreed to mark Lent 2026 by collecting items for WorkAid, a charity based in Chesham who refurbish tools to support projects in West Africa. A list of items being collected is available from the church office. Anything donated can be brought to the church office.
Quest Bible Discussions
You may already be marking Lent with your home group but if you aren’t and would like to join others ‘Quest’ is inviting you to join them. It is a Bible discussion group that meets at 10.30am on Mondays at church.
Starting on Monday 23 February, Quest will be doing a Lent Course that invites us “to pause, breathe, and rediscover what matters most”. Each of the six sessions will consist of a Bible passage, questions about how it applies to our lives today, and prayers.
If you are interested in joining them, you will be made most welcome and if you’d like to know more, please speak to Ian Greenshields (who can usually be found in Wesleys on a Sunday between services), other members of Quest or contact the church office.

All We Can
This is one of High Street’s nominated charities. They work through partnership alongside our global neighbours most impacted by disasters, poverty and injustice to enable flourishing and resilient communities.
Using their Prayer Handbook “Justice and Joy”, you will learn of their transforming work, while being guided in your reflections and prayers. Although this is suitable for use by individuals or groups at any time of year it is also a great Lent resource.
You can download copies from All We Can’s website or collect a copy from the church office.
