Youth Trips
High Street Youth are so privileged to have many options of trips and overnighters!
These trips are aimed to help young people encounter God in ways that suit them, connect with other Christian young people, build a sense of belonging to a wider community, and feel supported in their exploration and journey of faith. Helping them flourish and walk away with treasured experiences.
We have TWO amazing trips coming up in the next few weeks and we can’t wait to soak up every moment!
Illuminate Cathedral is happening 28th February! Illuminate are inviting youth groups from all around Harpenden, St Albans and beyond to join them in the Cathedral ‘for an evening of joyful abundance’! We have been before, and it’s been awesome!!
HSY Residential has been long awaited! Spending a weekend at Burwell House between 6th-8th March, we will eat and play and grow and worship! Last year young people described it as ‘peaceful’, ‘fun’, ‘lively’, ‘exciting’, and ‘helpful’. One young person said ‘I loved spending more time with my church’.
How can I help?
These trips are things we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience so for these extra, more high cost events, we could use your support.
Transporting everyone to and from these two events last year cost us over £300 and the price of hiring Burwell House costs around £2000. If you can support the trips High Street Youth organise, please click the DONATE button.
