When the Middle East news is filled incessantly with hatred, is peace possible?  Despite losing loved ones in the conflict, Maoz Inon, an Israelite and Aziz Abu Sarah, a Palestinian, describe their journey of peace in this fascinating and historically informative book. 

Both authors come from a tourism background and as guides they took people on ‘transformative journeys’.  It’s no surprise then that they have chosen to write this book as a travelogue; together they undertook an 8-day journey through the Holy Land.  As they go from place to place, they share their memories and hopes with each other, and so with us.  On Day 8, they arrive in Galilee and appropriately they quote Jesus, ‘Blessed are the peacemakers’.

This book is informative and hopeful.  The authors know hatred is always destructive and secondary; only peace can build a future.  The book comes highly commended.
