The author encourages us to live by Jesus’ values, including compassion, sacrifice, and acceptance of difference. The book is probably best used by first reading a chapter of Luke’s gospel before reading what the author says about those words. John Churcher encourages us to see Jesus as Luke saw Him: radical and relevant to his society.
