Project Complete!
It was great to be back in church on Easter Sunday following the refurbishment of our main worship space. We had a full house with well over 300 people attending our morning worship.
The church was then transformed for our Easter Sunday evening Space service, giving a more relaxed informal feel.
Last Sunday saw the first 9:15 and 11am services. It has been heartening to hear the positive comments and feedback from those who have attended services and events in the building. We are still getting to grips with how we can use the space, so we will continue to monitor use.
We were also given an example of how our new flexible space might be used: Building Blocks, our toddler group, wasn’t on and a few disappointed families arrived. We were able to move some toys into the main church and parents and carers enjoyed coffee from Wesleys while the children enjoyed space to play.
In the meantime, please support our Community Fun Day on 10 May, where we will invite our local community into our building with games, activities and crafts. Everyone’s invited!
