Fun In Church

Over 350 people accepted our invitation to join us in the church on Saturday 10 May, as we celebrated our new church space with a Community Fun Day.

The church itself was home to a fantastic crazy golf course, popular with budding golfers of all ages. There were refreshments served, children's crafts and toys, and church member Kate Buchanan held Watercolour workshops.

In the Hall, inflatables were the order of the day - with a fun run and football shootouts... with prizes for the fastest shots in different age categories.

Wesleys was a more chilled out zone with LEGO and DUPLO on hand for our young, and young-at-heart visitors!

Members of our youth groups rounded off the fun offering temporary tattoos out on the High Street.

It was wonderful to see so many people having a great time, asking about the church and the recent works, and feeling welcome in our building. It is our prayer that for many of those who attended, they now feel comfortable entering our building and chatting with us, and that these may be seeds planted on a journey of faith.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and skills, without whom the event simply would not have happened. It was a great success!
