Food for the Journey

We all need food for the journey and this year High Street and the Parish of Harpenden will be working together to participate in the Harpenden Food and Drink festival on 14 September.

Between 1 and 3pm, we will be providing a fun journey particularly aimed at primary school aged children but open to anyone.

With the help of High Street Players taking on the roles of characters from the Bible, we will be telling stories about Jesus along the way.

Call in to make your afternoon tea at Zac’s house or join Martha in her busy pizzeria… (would Jesus have had pineapple on his pizza?)

You can also create your own vintage as you are invited to the wedding at Cana.

All this is free and we pray it will be a great way to share God’s love with our community.

We have lots of opportunities for you to help with this event:
serving in Wesleys, supervising the activities - cake decorating, pizza making, welcoming,  giving out flyers in the town on the day, setting up and clearing away...

Please get in touch or sign up on Sunday mornings in the foyer if you could offer an hour or more on the day.

Finally don’t forget to invite neighbours and friends! We are sure it will be a fun afternoon and a great way to share Jesus with our community.
