High Street is a thriving all-age church at the heart of a bustling London commuter town. We are excited by the potential to grow our ministry amongst young families.
We are looking for an experienced children and families worker ready to strategise, lead, develop ministry and nurture faith.
Working in conjunction with the Church Leadership Team, the Children and Families Development Worker will be responsible for nurturing spirituality and faith formation of 0-11s and their families.
They will develop and execute a strategy for the church's work amongst families.
Key responsibilities and tasks
To build relationships with children and families within the church and the wider community.
To enable children and families to explore faith.
To listen to and develop provision for children and families.
To develop and sustain working partnerships to make the vision a reality.
To take responsibility for implementing efficient and compliant administration for all children’s and families activities.
Hours: Full Time, 35 hours a week (flexible)
Salary: £34,000 pa
