Children and Youth

Sunday Mornings for Children and Young People

Every Sunday, alongside both morning services we offer a full range of activities for children and young people – from 0 to 18.

Everyone starts together with their families in the church before heading out to their own groups.

For children not yet at school we provide a crèche for under 3s and a separate session for 3-4 year-olds, including craft, storytime and play. These groups meet in the Rear Rooms, If you’re not sure where that is, just ask a steward and someone will show you.

Alternatively, for parents who would like to stay with their children, services can be listened to in Wesleys where toys are available for children.

Children from Reception to Year 6 meet in the Hall for a fun-packed morning of stories, games, craft and worship. This large group breaks up into three age-groups for some activities, and use a range of resources from DVDs to drama to encourage all to engage.

JAM (11+)

The LX plays host for our 11 to 14 and 15 to 18 year old youth groups. The sessions always start with a drink and chill out time. There is a mixture of laughter and fun as well as Bible study, thinking about a Christian response to current issues in society and the lives of the young people.

For more details about JAM and our entire Youth programme, see our LX Youth Page
