WHY GIVE?

We are merely stewards of the talents, time and money with which God has blessed us. Giving money is a key way in which we share in the mission of the Church and support its work at High Street and beyond. Pledged Giving (stewardship) is a way in which each of us considers, prayerfully, how much we are going to give to God’s work from all that God has given us.

Making a pledged giving commitment enables High Street to plan its work, and maintain its property for the benefit of all those who worship and the many community groups who use our premises. It also allows us to reclaim Gift Aid where possible.

High Street does not have guaranteed income streams from sources other than its congregation and the use of its own assets. Partner with us as we seek to be God’s agents for change in this town and beyond - working to extend God’s kingdom by bringing light to dark places, challenging injustice, and constantly reaching out to the lost, the last and the least.
